Storm Chasers

you'd have to be pretty ignorant NOT to know that there is a storm in this here parts! i haven't seen rain like this for as long as i can remember.

as you know, our yard is no little piece of property to take care of and we have many storm drains that just can't keep up with the amount of water that's a'comin. we are also at the bottom of the cul-de-sac, which makes for a deadly combination. leaves blowing everywhere. i gave caelum and camden the job of going to each drain and clearing all the debris. you'd think i was sending them to europe. they ran around the house preparing for such an adventure.

this is what caelum first came to me with.

he quickly surmised that that wouldn't work and they both appeared like this.

(yes, he is now wearing camden coat, but that beats darth vader)

needless to say, it was the most fun they'd had in a long time.

oh, to be young again.

i watched from the kitchen window.
