i am the first one to vomit when people go on and on about their kids. my kids have made some whopper mistakes. i usually am the first to believe it. but i believe that out of the four people that read my blog, they won't mind one bit when i tell this story.
carson loves basketball. has ever since he could run. has finally (FINALLY) realized that his chance to be the next Kobe may not come true. after all he is short and white. being the ATTORNEY for the lakers may not be such a bad thing. anyhow, he had a little moment of bliss the other night during practice. they always start with free throws. when carson got up to 40 in a row, the coach called everyone in for a quick meeting. the boys told the coach to wait until he missed.
sure, said the coach, thinking this wouldn't be much longer.
imagine the excitement in that gym when carson finally missed on his 104th shot!!! 104 free throws in a row!
the school record is 85 and that was made up by the coach as incentive for the kids to keep trying! needless to say that at the parent meeting the next day, several dad's were asking glenn what we feed him.
fishy crackers.
(there. i'm done)
