exactly 22 years ago, i was in a hospital, looking into the face of this pumpkin. she came out with the brightest orange hair i had ever seen, and i knew from that moment on, halloween would be my favorite holiday.

i LOVE the photo!!!!!!! (and the makeup-love elyse all made up-such a doll!!!) and, you and me had this very same experience-giving birth to a newborn with bright orange hair! the nurses were beside themselves, and i was referred to as the mom with the redheaded baby!! happy birthday, elyse!!
