my mother-in-law is staying with us for awhile.
before she lived with us, she always wanted to know what was happening with the kids.
she would hate to ask glenn because, well, he is a man and hates small talk and doesn't remember details, like what we had with our steak, etc. so she would always want me to give her those details.
i'm a busy woman.
some would say, "really? you can't even pick up the phone and have a conversation with your mother-in-law?"
this is carson.
he wouldn't let me take a picture of him due to the fact that his nose is broken.
this topped off a weekend of
two soccer picture appts.
two soccer games
back to school night
an eagle project
two bball games in anaheim
sharing time in primary
primary birthday cookies
fireside treats (told 15 minutes before start of fireside)
baptism interview
costco and grocery in one day (you know what i'm talking about!)
ortho
soccer practice
2nd grade homework
helen doesn't ask me anymore why i don't ever pick up the phone.
i don't say this to sound like the busiest woman on the planet. like that is some sort of prize or spot in america's top ten.
i say this to my family and friends who think that i don't care. i do...i just don't want to talk.

hahaha you also forgot to add the thousands of stupid phone calls your daughter sends your way... Just reading that stressed me out! haha and lets just face it mom... we arent the "talky phone" people. infact - talking sometimes just bugs. haha its ok, you can say that too.
i feel your pain, and completely agree. we are on the same page, sister. dont you know i live in a cave? and btw...even if i havent talked to you in weeks (well, we DID break that silence yesterday)...i still love you and always will.
awesome...this is why we are such good friends...i think we could go years without talking and still pick up where we left off becuase we both just KNOW. :)
on another note...second post in a matter of a week or such...you just might inspire me to post again...maybe...
