throw me a bone

this is one sorry face. this is one sorry face that has been on various medications for 8 days. three days last week and 5 days this week. this is one sorry face with pink eye and strep throat.

i won't show a picture of me but mine is one sorry face too. 5 other people have rotated in and out of the sick bed this week and my walls are caving in. seriously, if i sit here much longer, i will be taking a jack hammer to several walls and glenn won't be able to do a thing about it. i will call it "gaping wall syndrome".

it's what happens when my overactive, bored, tired, nurse-dutied-out (is that even a word?) brain is on overdrive. there isn't a room i wouldn't touch at this point.

the only thing making this isolation tolerable, is the million times a day this little guy tells me how wonderful i am for blowing his nose.
does it get any better?

if the truth be know, sometimes i liked it when my little kids would get sick because i would just have to lay on the couch with them and watch re-runs of rugrats. however, i do know that gets old after the laundry piles up and the nothing else gets done. i tell ya, do we ever get a break? hope he feels better soon, poor boy.
